Health & Safety Representative Certification Training
This 3-day training program is designed for Employees and Supervisors and/or Managers who have been selected to become the designated Health and Safety Representative for their company or organization. Participants must successfully complete a written Theory test. The Health and Safety Representative training program includes:
- OHSA Legislation and Regulations
- Rights of Workers
- Internal Responsibility System (IRS)
- Workplace Duties and Responsibilities
- MOL Enforcement
- Workplace Hazards
- Work Refusals and Stoppages
- Report Writing
- Workplace Inspections
- Hazard Assessments
- Incident Investigations
Included in the course are all manuals, workbooks and hand-outs, as well as full academic tracking for participants. This includes a reminder service for mandatory recurrency training. Students receive both a wall certificate and wallet card.
