Workplace injury Claims
Workplace injuries are unfortunately a common occurrence in many workplace environments. They can be caused by heavy lifting, fatigue, trips and falls, faulty equipment, hazardous materials and many more factors. However, whether they are critical, cause for lost time or no lost time, many can be avoided by incorporating proper Health and Safety policies, training and supervision.
For the year of 2019 as reported by the Government of Ontario there has been:
56,529—lost-time injury claims reported to the Ministry of Labor
126,251—no lost-time injury claims reported to the Ministry of Labor
1,898—critical injury events reported to the Ministry of Labor
