COVID-19 POLICIES
As we are starting to get back to work, our new reality is going to include NEW policies and procedures. Similar to a workplace Health and Safety or Workplace Violence Policy, it is anticipated that a COVID-19 Policy and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) will now be part of the tendering process. All companies will have to submit a formal COVID-19 Policy as part of their Sub-Trade Packages.
For many sectors, especially construction, the nature of the work activities will not fit generic COVID-19 recommended practices. Therefore, wording of policies and procedures must be done cautiously. Ensuring both safety for Workers, but practicality for operations.
